HOW DO I PURCHASE AN ACCESS PASS?

You can purchase an Access Pass in one of two ways:

  1. Buy a Pass at any station by follow the step-by-step instructions on the touchscreen.
  2. Use the Transit App to buy Access Passes and get ride codes to unlock bikes right from your phone. See Get the Apps for more information.

WHY WAS MY PURCHASE REJECTED?

Your bank rejected the transaction. You are trying to use a prepaid card.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP A BIKE OUT?

The first 60 minutes of each ride is included in the base price of the pass or with your membership. Extra usage fees apply after 60 minutes. See Annual Pass and Access Passes for more information on pricing.

CAN I TAKE OUT MORE THAN ONE BIKE WITH AN ACCESS PASS?

Each Access Pass allows up 2 bikes to be taken out.

CAN I USE THE SAME 5-DIGIT RIDE CODE MORE THAN ONCE?

No. For multiple bikes on one Pass, one ride code per trip is issued to unlock all bikes. If you want to ride again while your Pass is active, you must insert the same credit or debit card into the station kiosk to receive a new ride code.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP A BIKE OUT WITH MY PASS?

The first 60 minutes of each ride is included in the base price of the pass. Extra usage fees apply for rides that exceed 60 minutes.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED TO PURCHASE AN ACCESS PASS?

Purchase an Access Pass with a VISA, MasterCard, or debit card at any station or through the Transit App. Prepaid cards are not accepted.

CAN I PURCHASE A NEW PASS WITH THE SAME CREDIT CARD BEFORE MY CURRENT PASS EXPIRES?

No. If you would like to purchase a second Pass before the first Pass expires, you must use a different credit or debit card.

HOW DO I TAKE OUT A BIKE WITH MY PASS?

Once you buy an Access Pass, you will receive a 5-digit ride code. Find an available bike, and enter the ride code on the dock keypad. Ride codes are valid for 5 minutes and are for single-use only. Once your ride code expires or you want to ride again while your Pass is active, you must insert the same credit or debit card into the station to receive a new ride code. For multiple bikes on one Access Pass, one ride code is issued to unlock all bikes.

WILL I BE CHARGED AGAIN FOR A NEW RIDE CODE?

No, but you must use the same credit or debit card that you used to purchase your Pass, and your Pass must still be active.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I RIDE WITH MY PASS?

As many times as you want while your Pass is active! The first 60 minutes of each ride is included in the price of the pass. Extra usage fees apply for rides that exceed 60 minutes.
