As a bicycle sharing system that serves Chicago, Illinois. There are 3 membership plans of Divvy Bike you can choose from: Single Ride, Explorer Pass and Annual Membership.

1Single Ride – $3/trip
Great for Quick Trips

The Single Ride costs $3 for one trip up to 30 minutes – perfect for spontaneous, one-way trips. If you need to ride for longer, it’s just $3 per additional 30 minutes.

2Explorer Pass – $15/day
Perfect for visitors

The Explorer Pass costs $15 for unlimited trips in a 24-hour period, up to 3 hours each. If you keep a bike out for longer than 3 hours at a time, it’s just $3 per additional 30 minutes.

3Annual Membership – $99/year
Best deal for locals

The Annual Membership is $99/year (or $9.95/mo with annual commitment) and includes unlimited 45-minute rides. Rides longer than 45 minutes is an extra $3 per additional 30 minutes.

Usage Fees

If you incur any usage fees, your card on file will be charged. The fee for a lost or stolen bike is $1200.

Divvy for Business

Is your organization a Divvy for Business partner? You might be eligible for a discounted or free membership.

Many companies, universities and apartment buildings enroll in our Divvy for Business program. A company email address or password might be required. University Membership

Divvy is the best way to get around campus and explore the city!

Having a University Annual Membership to Divvy means 24/7 access to thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations across Chicago and Evanston. Use Divvy to commute to class, run errands, meet up with friends, or explore the city.

The cost of the University Membership is only $75 per year. You’ll need to keep an active credit or debit card on file, and we’ll mail you a bike key that you’ll use to unlock bikes.

Divvy for Everyone (D4E)

The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) and City of Evanston aim to offer all residents an affordable, accessible and fun transportation option. D4E provides a one-time $5 Annual Membership to qualifying residents. The program also incorporates a cash payment system for those individuals who do not have debit or credit card, required for a standard Divvy membership.

Bulk Passes

Divvy sells Single Rides or Explorer Passes in bulk at a discount. They’re great for offering a fun perk to employees, visitors, hotel guests, volunteers, or any other groups. Discounts apply to purchases greater than 50 passes, and the more you buy, the more you save.
